June's Memory

I wrote the music for June's memory by starting with a song first, then building a soundtrack around that song. This is the last track in the OST called "Inside My Mind."  The image "Inside My World" we were supposed to get inspiration from was actually really evocative and I was immediately able to start coming up with all kinds of ideas for a story. One thing led to another and the story just kept getting deeper. 

The story of June, a young girl, and her relationship with her mom for one day seemed like just the right idea for some reason. I turned everything into a patchworked video telling the story to get it to work a bit better, but I think it turned out pretty well. This is the ideal way to listen to the music because the story is added to the video.

I tried my best to keep the tracks loopable in mind for use in a video game. Some are basic in instrumentation, but others aren't. All of them though use recurring melodies that get traded by the other tracks. Those recurring melodies to me represent the different characters or different moments, but the main one "Junes Theme" is the most important and easiest to recognize.
